Entertainment Line Up Released for Concert for Healthcare on October 7

McCook, Nebraska— A night of great music is planned for this year’s Concert for Healthcare at the Kiplinger Arena, Red Willow County Fairgrounds, on Saturday, October 7 when Priscilla Block presents her Block Party Tour. The energizing show raises funds to support Community Hospital’s vision of cultivating healthy communities through progressive and proactive care. Jordan Fletcher, a Nashville based artist, opens at 6:30 pm with Block beginning at 8 pm. Doors open at 6 pm.

Country artist and TikTok star, Block, draws listeners in with her unfiltered, relatable songwriting and catchy melodies. She is pegged as an Artist to Watch by Amazon Music, PANDORA, Spotify, CMT, The Boot, MusicRow, HITS, Sounds Like Nashville, Country Now, Music Mayhem and more. Her honest and upfront approach promotes self-love, empowerment, and acceptance through her own blend of country pop and southern rock, dubbed the Block Party sound. Released in February, Block’s debut studio album includes “Just About Over You” along with “Wish You Were the Whiskey,” “My Bar,” “I Bet You Wanna Know” and more. Most recently, Block, and Justin Moore’s duet “You, Me, and Whisky” hit the Country Airplay charts at number one, making her the only female in the top 10 for the week. With 85 million streams and climbing, Block is an artist you won’t want to miss!

Fletcher opens for Block with his unique take on “authentic country spiked with rock spirit.” His autobiographical tunes, including “Hometowns Don’t” and “I Know You Are, But What Am I,” shed light on his life in a way that he hopes is therapeutic. “This is a shared experience,” he says, “When you listen to me, I hope you think, ‘This dude went through that? That makes me feel better.’” Other singles include “Still Those Kids,” in which he celebrates his love story with his wife of 11 years, and 2020 favorite, “Me On.”

“This family friendly event is a way to bring the community together while raising funds and awareness of our local healthcare services,” says Jessica Bortner, Community Hospital Health Foundation Executive Director. “Funds raised will support the mission of Community Hospital in leading our region to a healthier future. The Health Foundation funds healthcare equipment, patient assistance, program funding, healthcare scholarships and education, and the list continues."
