MCC’s Wild West All-Star game set for June 26

High School showcase to cap off volleyball week of camps, tryouts

The McCook Community College Wild West All-Star Volleyball Classic is set for Sunday, June 26 at 5 p.m. at the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and free for children three and younger.

In addition to four days of volleyball camps for girls from kindergarten through high school, Coach Hayley Kobza is having a tryout session for all 2023 graduates starting June 25 at 2 p.m. with check-in starting at 1 p.m. MCC has athletic and academic scholarships available. All participants must bring a current physical.

All campers receive individual instruction, camp T-shirts, individual camp awards, and free entry into Sunday’s Wild West All-Star Volleyball Classic.

Here are the high school graduates who will be playing in the Wild West All-Star Volleyball Classic: The east team will be coached by MCC Volleyball Alums Kallie Cathcart and Makenzie Derr and the west team coached by MCC Volleyball Alum Emily Barr and her father Bob.
