Southwest and Mother Nature Win in Chappell

Southwest traveled to take on Creek Valley on Thursday night in Chappell.  A kickoff set for 6pm CT didn't happen after lightning delayed the game until 7pm CT.  Southwest would lead the game 36-0 in the 1st quarter before the game would be halted again due to lightning and would resume in the 2nd quarter with a running clock as both teams agreed to try and get at least a half of football in, but that didn't happen.  The game would end and get canceled with Southwest defeating Creek Valley 36-0.  Roughriders improve to 2-1 on the year and the Storm drop to 0-4.  Southwest will travel to Wauneta-Palisade next week with coverage on Coyote Country 105.3 and online coyote105.com.
