Farm Hand Compensation & Benefits:

• $50,000-$70,000 per year, based on experience

• Farm Hand Job Duties:
• Operate JD equipment safely

• Maintain and perform general maintenance on equipment

The Farm Hand must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. A CDL is preferred but not required. The Farm Hand must be able to obtain a CDL.

• Regular Season: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Occasional Saturday’s.
• Busy Season: Monday-Saturday 7:00 AM-8:00 PM

Ag Equipment Operator/Farm Hand Job Duties:

• Operate all farm equipment such as planters, combines, tractors, discs, cultivators, trucks, forklifts, rakes, mowers, balers, etc.
• Operate machinery safely
• Irrigate and help maintain/repair pivots
• Assist with processing by using gravity beds, treater, precleaner, and other equipment as needed
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently to accomplish goals
• Assist with physical inventory and customer order fulfillment
• Effectively communicate with co-workers and Team Leads
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace

Additional Duties:

• Provide support with cattle chores as needed (feeding, watering, working cattle, and assisting with calving.

Ag Equipment Operator/Farm Hand Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Hours vary based on the Season

Ag Equipment Operator/Farm Hand must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by the MVR. A Class A CDL is not required, but preferred.

Dirt Commander Ag is looking to add a Truck Driver to their team! The Truck Driver will be dispatched out of Minden, Nebraska and can be home every night.

Truck Driver Compensation & Benefits:

• A percentage of gross income that the truck makes

Truck Driver Job Duties: 

• The Truck Driver will primarily haul Ag Commodities such as: corn, beans, hay, corn cobs, seed corn, fertilizer and equipment.
• Will occasionally operate a side dump.
• The Truck Driver must be able to safely secure the load and complete DOT pre-trip inspections daily.
• Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to perform general maintenance on semi’s and trailers.

The ideal applicant would be self-motivated, reliable and detail oriented. The Truck Driver must have their Class A CDL License, and an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. The Truck Driver will be subject to pre-employment and random drug tests.
