Jeff and Hazen Deeds in Goodland, Kansas are looking for an experienced Farm Hand to join their family farm operation. The Farm Hand must be detail-orientated, with excellent communication skills and have the ability to utilize technology to enhance the farm operation.
Farm Hand Compensation and Benefits:
- $55,000-$68,000 per year based on experience
- Year-end bonus
- Health insurance stipend
- Paid time off
- Pickup
Farm Hand Job Duties:
- Operate late model John Deere equipment
- Assist with planting
- Irrigating
- Assist with harvest: operating a combine and grain cart
- Use precision technology equipment
- Driving a semi-truck
- Unloading grain bins
- Operating tillage and cultivating equipment
- Performance maintenance and repairs on equipment
Farm Hand Schedule:
- Hours vary based on season
- Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekends during busy season
A Class A CDL is not required, but preferred. The Farm Hand must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR.
