All Offense In McCook MNB Seniors Loss Against Ogallala Adams Bank and Trust

Bats were blistered on Tuesday at Ogallala, but McCook MNB Seniors couldn't quite get the job done against Ogallala and lost 13-11. Ogallala collected six hits, while McCook MNB Seniors had eight. McCook MNB Seniors lost despite out-hitting Ogallala eight to six. Bryson Gullion led McCook MNB Seniors with two hits. McCook MNB Seniors got on the board in the top of the first inning after an error scored one run, and Simon Garcia drew a walk, scoring one run. McCook MNB Seniors committed an error, which helped Ogallala tie the game at three in the bottom of the second. McCook MNB Seniors took the lead in the top of the third. Trey Tiller doubled, scoring one run, to give McCook MNB Seniors the edge, 4-3. Ogallala flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring six runs on two hits to take a 9-4 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a grand slam to right field by Jayden Curtis that drove in four. Bradyn Heilman earned the win for Ogallala. They allowed six hits and seven runs (three earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out one and walking three. Miles Pollmann took the loss for McCook MNB Seniors. They went two and one-third innings, surrendering nine runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out three and walking two. Ollie Corbett and Garcia each drove in two runs for McCook MNB Seniors. McCook MNB Seniors had a strong eye at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Tripp Raile and Garcia led the team with two walks each. McCook MNB Seniors turned one double play in the game. Curtis went 1-for-3 at the plate as the infielder led the team with four runs batted in. Blake Robb, Kobe Florum, Markell Macke, Jessie Ortega, Curtis, and Owen Snow each collected one hit for Ogallala. Ogallala had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Curtis and Michael Redden led the team with two bases on balls each.
