Nebraska softball alumni Billie Andrews was selected by the Oklahoma City Spark in the Athletes United Softball League allocation draft on Monday night.

The infielder was the 19th pick of the allocation draft, the second of two drafts last night. The expansion draft, which took place first, allowed first-year teams Oklahoma City Spark and Cascade, to select current AUSL players to fill their rosters. The allocation draft included all six teams, which drafted players not currently in the AUSL. Maya Brady was the first selection of the expansion draft and Kelly Maxwell was picked first in the allocation draft.

Andrews ended her Husker career as a two-time All-American, a three-time all-region selection and a four-time All-Big Ten pick. She was also a three-time academic all-district selection and was also Nebraska’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2024 after being the Husker Female Athlete of the Year in 2022.

The Nebraska native ranks in the top 10 on 11 of NU’s career record lists, including first in home runs (61) and second in extra-base hits (100) and slugging percentage (.679).
