Expanded Sports Gambling Measure Advances at Legislature

LR-20CA Advanced at the Nebraska Legislature this morning.  The resolution would place expanding sports gambling on the ballot for voters to decide the issue in the 2026 election. The resolution survived first round debate 27-16.

Central Nebraska lawmakers were split. Dan Quick and Stan Clouse vote to advance the measure. Loren Lippincott, Dan Lonowski, and Dan McKeon voted against.
