The Nebraska women’s basketball team rejoined the USA Today/WBCA rankings on Tuesday following an impressive 91-60 win over visiting Wisconsin Monday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Huskers (15-4, 6-2 Big Ten) stretched their winning streak to five games to re-enter the coaches poll at No. 25. Nebraska was ranked No. 23 in the preseason coaches poll and climbed as high as No. 19 in the USA Today rankings on Nov. 19, before falling from the poll at the end of November. Nebraska’s five-game Big Ten winning streak is its longest regular-season conference streak since 2018 (5 games, Jan. 16-Feb. 1).

Nebraska regained a top-25 spot by moving into fifth place in the 18-team Big Ten standings behind nationally ranked UCLA (1), USC (5), Maryland (10) and Ohio State (12). The Huskers already own wins over coaches top-25 teams Michigan State (22) and Minnesota (24), while their only losses have come to UCLA and USC – the only remaining unbeaten teams in Big Ten play.

The Huskers carry a Big Ten-best 15-game home-court winning streak into Sunday’s game with No. 12 Ohio State (17-1, 6-1 Big Ten) on Pack PBA Day in Lincoln. The Buckeyes, who will square off with No. 10 Maryland on Thursday in Columbus, have won three straight games in the series with Nebraska, including a 76-67 win by then-No. 3 Ohio State over the Huskers in the most recent PBA meeting (Jan. 14, 2023).

Tickets for Nebraska’s Pack PBA game with Ohio State are available now at Huskers.com, or fans can call the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-8-BIG-RED during regular business hours, Monday-Friday.
