MCC announces winners of top academic athletes

McCook Community College Athletic Director Jon Olsen announced three athletic-academic awards Monday at the MCC Indians Athletic banquet held for the first time at MCC’s East Campus.
Sophomore baseball player Nathan Hutchison (Riverton, Wyo.) was named the MCC male academic athlete of the year. Sophomore basketball player Natalie Harmata (Sydney, Australia) was named MCC’s female academic athlete of the year.
The award for MCC’s top academic team went to Women’s Basketball with a team grade-point average of 3.51. The award was accepted by MCC Women’s Basketball Coach Brandon Pritchett.
