McCook Golf Team Wins Ogallala Invite

McCook Bison Golf team traveled to Ogallala yesterday to play in the Ogallala Invite at Crandall Creek Golf Club. The Bison came away with the victory by 26 strokes shooting a team score of 316. Hershey was runner-up in the invite scoring a 342.
Reid Loop led the Bison individually winning the invite scoring a 75. Landon Kmoch was runner-up carding a 79. Keaton Loop and Trenton Raile both tied for 4th scoring an 81 and Kolton Koetter scored an 84.
Comments from Head Coach Ben Vetrovsky:
"Toughest weather conditions we had to face all year, but our players did an excellent job battling the conditions. The high winds cause everyone some struggles in the field, but as a team we were able to score some really nice scores. It was nice to see Ried back in the winner circle and the winning invite. Landon has a really nice day as well, he just wishes he had one hole back. Keaton, Trenton, and Kolton all did a great job managing the weather putting together solid rounds. It was a great way to end the regular season and we look forward to Monday to compete at districts in Ogallala."
