McCook MNB Seniors Secure Win Against Minden

McCook MNB Seniors topped Minden Post 7-2 on Friday.
McCook MNB Seniors got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Miles Pollmann singled, scoring two runs, Noah Mashek hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Ollie Corbett homered to center field, scoring two runs.
McCook MNB Seniors added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Mashek singled, and Trenton Raile grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run.
Trey Tiller earned the win for McCook MNB Seniors. The starter gave up six hits and two runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Cade Harsin took the loss for Minden. The reliever went six innings, surrendering three runs (two earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking none.
McCook MNB Seniors accumulated 10 hits in the game. Corbett, Quentin Terry, and Bryson Gullion each collected two hits for McCook MNB Seniors. Corbett and Mashek were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for McCook MNB Seniors.
Mason Bolin led Minden with two hits in four at bats from the leadoff position. Luke Grollmes led Minden with one run batted in. The catcher went 1-for-3 on the day.
