McCook MNB Seniors Take Lead And Never Look Back In Win Over Ogallala

McCook MNB Seniors won big over Ogallala 7-1 on Tuesday.

Ogallala got on the board in the first inning after Jackson Saner scored after tagging up.

Miles Pollmann grounded out, which helped McCook MNB Seniors tied the game at one in the top of the third.

McCook MNB Seniors captured the lead, 4-1, in the top of the fifth after Tripp Raile singled down the left field line, Bryson Gullion scored after tagging up, and Espn Hall singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Trey Tiller earned the win for McCook MNB Seniors. The pitcher gave up two hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Bradyn Heilman led things off on the hill for Ogallala. The pitcher surrendered five hits and three runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking two.

Noah Mashek, Hall, and Raile each collected two hits for McCook MNB Seniors. Simon Garcia led McCook MNB Seniors with two runs batted in. The right fielder went 1-for-2 on the day.

Blake Robb led Ogallala with one run batted in. Saner and Heilman each collected one hit for Ogallala.

McCook MNB Bank Seniors back in action Friday-Sunday at the Hastings Tournament.
