November Traffic Fatality Toll

Dec. 15, 2025 (Lincoln, Neb.) — During the month of November 2025, thirty people were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
¨      These 30 fatalities occurred in 26 fatal crashes.
¨      Nine of the eighteen vehicle occupants killed were not using seatbelts, eight were using a seatbelt, and one had seatbelt usage marked as unknown.
¨      Nineteen of the fatalities were in rural locations*.
¨      There were two fatalities on the interstate, nineteen on other highways, and nine on local roads.
¨      Eight of the fatalities were pedestrians.
¨      Three of the fatalities were motorcyclists.
¨      One of the fatalities was riding a motorized bicycle.

There were 14 fatalities in November of 2024.

Only 55 of the 161 vehicle occupants killed during 2025 were using seatbelts.
