NPCC lands ten student-athletes on NJCAA All-Academic Teams

North Platte, Neb. - The National Junior College Athletic Association recognized 12,245 student-athletes from across the country for their dedication in the classroom last week.

The Knights volleyball and women's basketball teams combined to land ten student-athletes on the 2023-24 NJCAA All-Academic Team lists. Those who achieved a GPA of 3.6 or higher are:

NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.0 GPA

Jaelyn Dicke - Volleyball

Kathryn Folkers – Volleyball

Reece Halley – Women's Basketball

NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA

Aubrey Grant – Volleyball

Talli Martin – Volleyball

Elsie Ottun – Volleyball

Samantha Riggles – Volleyball

EmiLee Walnofer – Volleyball

Emily Johnson – Women's Basketball

NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.6-3.79 GPA

Emily Johnson – Volleyball

Additionally, the Knights volleyball team posted a 3.59 cumulative GPA to earn NJCAA Academic Team of the Year status.
