Red Flag Warning Issued

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect from 1PM-9PM today for portions of the area west of Highway 281, where low relative humidity and gusty southwest winds will result in critical fire weather conditions.

Near-critical fire weather conditions are expected to develop outside of the warned area.

Chances for more widespread thunderstorms return to the forecast for Wednesday. There is the potential that some of these storms could be strong-severe, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours.
