The combination of gusty winds and low relative humidity will result in critical fire weather conditions this afternoon and evening.
A Red Flag Warning remains in effect from 11AM - 9AM for the entire forecast area.
Winds start out the day from the south-southwest, turn more westerly with time around midday, then switch to the north-northwest behind a passing cold front.
Gusts near 30 MPH will be possible both ahead of and behind this front.
