Southwest Football Team Wins State Quarter-Final

Bartley, NE - The Southwest Roughrider story continues to the next chapter after the Roughriders have accomplished a historic run this season from being the first team to finish the regular season undefeated, making the State Playoffs, and then winning the first round playoff game for the first time since 2006.  

The Story continues though after last week Southwest able to win in the State Quarter Final game against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller 27-23.  Southwest now has advanced to the Class D6 State Semi-Final game which will take place on Friday, November 14th on the road.  The opponent is undefeated Red Cloud who also is into the State Semi-Final game for the first time in program history.  Kickoff from Red Cloud is set for 6:00pm and can be heard live on Coyote Country 105.3 and online coyote105.com with the pregame show starting at 5:30pm.
