WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) released the following statement after the passing of former Vice President Dick Cheney:

"Today, America honors Dick Cheney's life of service. Born in Lincoln, NE and a son of Wyoming, Vice President Cheney represented his state and country with commitment and courage. He served at nearly every level of government, from congressional and White House aide all the way to Vice President. I pray for Lynne and his family as they mourn the loss of Vice President Cheney."

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Adrian Smith (R-NE) released the following statement today regarding the passing of former Vice President Richard Cheney.
